ShaRonda Shaw, aka ‘The Doctor Next Door’, is a Board-Certified Family Physician. She matriculated at the University of Illinois at Chicago earning her B.S. in Biological Science in 2003. From there she earned her D.O. at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2007, and completed her Family Practice Residency at Fort Wayne Medical Education in 2010.
Dr. Shaw’s exceptional work ethic has landed her coveted positions in Emergency Rooms in Chicago, Illinois and in Tampa, Florida where she expertly handles 5-30,000 Volume Emergency Departments/Urgent Care.
She’s the recipient of honors and awards such as the: Chancellor’s Award (Nova Southeastern C.O.M.), Academic Excellence Award (Fort Wayne Medical Education Program), and Academic Chief Resident (Fort Wayne Medical Education Program). She’s a professional member of: American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, American College of Emergency Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Shaw spends several hours per week caring for patients, providing them a better quality of life, and educating them on how to reverse, prevent, and decrease the long term effects of hypertension and diabetes.
